An adjustable mounting for a bicycle saddle enables the user to adjust the tilt and fore and aft setting independently. The mounting comprises a head (10) fitted to the top of the saddle support tube (50) and with two outer grip plates (20) secured by a transverse threaded fastener. The grip plates have slots (21) to grip the two parallel support bars (40) under the saddle for fore and aft setting and are clamped to the head by interlocking geared profiles. This allows dull adjustment when the plates are fully removed. The head has a two part construction with interlocking geared profiles for independent tilt adjustment, secured by a vertical threaded fastener.
