Disclosed is a novel method for producing N-carbonyl saturated heterocyclic rings. Also disclosed are an intermediate thereof, a method for producing such an intermediate, and use of the N-carbonyl saturated heterocyclic rings. Specifically disclosed is a method expressed by the following reaction scheme. (R<SUP>1</SUP>: H, an alkoxy, optionally substituted phenyl or the like, R<SUP>2</SUP>: a halogen-substituted phenyl, R<SUP>3</SUP>: H, OH or the like, G<SUP>1</SUP>: an alkylene, G<SUP>2</SUP>: a single bond or CH<SUB>2</SUB>, G<SUP>3</SUP>: an alkylene or the like, X: OH or the like, Y: a leaving group).
