REMOTE COACHING SERVICE AND SERVER

A Cross Platform Remote Coaching System is hereby disclosed (RCS). Said RCS is capable of delivering a wide range of coaching programs on familiar and widely available Individual Communication Means (ICM) and in particular mobile phones and interactive TV. Enrollment to said coaching programs requires the creation of a personal profile that can be shared by the different programs run by the RCS. Particular attention is given to a remote coaching server for delivering instruction related to nutrition, the Remote Nutrition Coaching Service (RNCS). Said RNCS is designed for the monitoring and analyzing of personal nutritional behavior and for the increasing of general nutritional awareness. The RNCS provides a daily consumption status and displays the results at the user's convenience. The RNCS also elaborates nutritional information in a way which is easily understandable to the user. Finally the RNCS provides ways for improving the nutritional decision making process in the course of the day and issues real-time notices as for steps necessary for ensuring a balanced nutritional behavior.
