<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of stably generating the desired amount of ions with comparatively low output. <P>SOLUTION: As a wind shielding wall 18 is mounted, wet air vaporized by a vaporization filter 2 is blocked and does not reach an electrode 14 and a counter electrode 15. Further the electrode 14 and the counter electrode 15 are placed in the atmosphere of unhumidified air by mounting a supplying part 33. Thus the negative ions can be stably generated, and its generating quantity is not reduced.
