<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a (polychrome) thermal recording material which is high in coloring concentration, excellent in color reproducing concentration and can give a sharp image without color stain. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material wherein a thermal recording layer in which an electron receptive compound colored by being reacted to an electron donative dye precursor or a coupler compound colored by being reacted to a diazonium salt is provided on a base material as an emulsion dispersed material, at least one layer of the thermal recording layer is featured by containing the emulsion dispersed material of <0.18 μm in volume average particle size. The volume average particle size of the emulsion dispersed material should desirably be under 0.5 of the volume average particle size of a micro-capsule containing the electron donative dye precursor or the diazonium salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
