<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deviation between right and left sides on an image by reducing the occurrence of a temperature difference between right and left sides to the scanning center inside an optical scanning apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A metal member 70 is arranged in the image forming apparatus so as to cover the top face of the optical scanning apparatus 20, and the metal member 70 is provided with a wall part 76 arranged between the optical scanning apparatus 20 and a fixing apparatus. Connecting parts 72 and 74 are arranged on both sides of the metal member 70 so as to be attached to a side frame, and the contact area of the connecting part 72 on a synchronous photodetecting apparatus 66 side with the side frame is made larger than that of the connecting part 74. Besides, an opening part 80 is formed in between the wall part 76 on the synchronous photodetecting apparatus 66 side by taking the scanning center as a boundary and a base part 71. Then, the heat transmitted from the fixing apparatus to the wall part 76 is transmitted from a side with no opening part 80 to the base part 71, further, transmitted to the side frame through the connecting parts 72 and 74. In this case, the heat transmission differs between the right and left sides of the scanning center, then, the temperature in the optical scanning apparatus 20 can be made uniform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
