<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which the vapor and liquid in the fuel cell can be separated with a simple structure and the separated moisture is prevented from freezing. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 12 generates electric power by receiving supply of an anode gas containing hydrogen to an anode and receiving supply of a cathode gas containing oxygen to a cathode, and is equipped with a vapor liquid separation means for separating the moisture in the anode off-gas at the manifold 48 in the fuel cell where the anode off-gas passes. Since the vapor and liquid can be separated inside the fuel cell 12, it is not necessary to install a vapor liquid separator at the outside of the fuel cell 12 and the fuel cell system 10 can be constructed simply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
