<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain online calibration of a transmission path for adjusting an execution timing of the calibration taking into account a residual system capacity of a carrier power. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission apparatus includes: an antenna signal processing section 105 provided to the transmission path and for applying multiplex processing to a user signal and a calibration signal; a total transmission power measurement section 112 for measuring a total transmission power value of the multiplexed signal transmitted from an antenna element 102 on the basis of the multiplex signal received from the antenna signal processing section 105; and a user signal processing section 107 for determining an output timing of the calibration signal and the setting power of the calibration signal on the basis of the total transmission power value received from the total transmission power measurement section 112 to output the result to a calibration signal generating section 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
