<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder container washing medium and a powder container washing apparatus, capable of enhancing the performance of discharging the powder from the powder container while securing the high adsorption with the powder, and to provide a method for processing the washing medium. <P>SOLUTION: The washing medium 80 is constituted of a coating member 81 which is electrified with a polarity reverse to that of residual toner, a core member 82 whose specific gravity is higher than that of the coating member 81.
