<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft capsule preparation stable over a long period while holding excellent characteristics essential to gelatin. <P>SOLUTION: This soft capsule preparation is obtained by filling a capsule substrate consisting essentially of the gelatin with required contents. The gelatin is prepared by dissolving thereof in electrolytic reduction water. Furthermore, the electrolytic reduction water has pH8-10 thereof and 0 to -350 mV oxidation reduction potential.
