PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a purine body-adsorbing agent useful for prophylaxis or treatment of hyperuricemia by adsorbing a purine body and controlling digestive absorption of the purine body in human.

SOLUTION: This purine body adsorbing agent comprises ε-polylysine and/or its salt. The purine body adsorbing agent is used for prophylaxis or treatment of draught and/or hyperuricemia.
