PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence frequency of communication troubles in a communication system between a vehicle running on a fixed running route and an earth station. SOLUTION: With a communication line 3 extending through a repeater station 8, transmitting/receiving frequencies f1, f2 between a primary communication line 3A of the repeater station 8 and a mobile station 5 are set to be mutually different from transmitting/receiving frequencies f3, f4 between a secondary communication line 3B of the repeater station 8 and the mobile station 5. The repeater station 8 changes the frequencies of mobile station-oriented signals and earth station-oriented signals passing through the repeater station 8 to the frequencies set for the communication lines 3B, 3A downstream these signals, respectively, thus changing over the transmitting/receiving frequencies of the mobile station 5 to those set for the downstream communication lines 3B, 3A during passing through the repeater station 8.
