PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save space for displaying actuation of an ion generator, and simplify it in a ceiling-disposed type air cleaning device 100 for a vehicle integrated with the ion generator 5. SOLUTION: This air cleaning device for a vehicle comprises an air flow generating means 3, an air filter 4, and the ion generator 5 disposed on an air passage connecting an air intake port 2 to an air blowout port 8, and a fan display lamp 16 to display actuation states of the air flow generating means 3. The fan display lamp 16 displays if the ion generator 5 is in a clean mode to generate both cations and anions, or in an ion mode to generate anions only, as well as actuation states of the air flow generating means 3.
