PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank device in a saddle riding type vehicle capable of preventing drain from flowing in the reverse direction in a drain pipe and preventing dust from rising in the drain pipe during the traveling of a vehicle when the drain pipe is provided to discharge drain generated around a fuel pouring member in a fuel tank to a downward area of a fuel tank body. SOLUTION: The fuel tank device 21 comprises a fuel tank body 27 which is supported by a vehicle body 2 to store fuel 20, a recess 28 which is formed in an upper portion of the fuel tank body 27 and opened upwardly, a fuel pouring member 29 stored inside the recess 28, and a drain pipe 35 which extends in the longitudinal direction while an upper end 33 thereof is opened in an inner bottom part of the recess 28 and a lower end 34 thereof is opened in a lower area of the fuel tank body 27. A pressure drop suppression device 38 is provided to suppress that the second air pressure P2 in the inner bottom part of the recess 28 is lower than the first air pressure P1 in the lower end 34 of the drain pipe 35.
