PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence of the component of cross talk due to light advancing the inside of a clad part in an optical switch. SOLUTION: The optical switch is provided with a film-like member 1. The film-like member 1 includes a plurality of core parts 4 linearly extending as a propagation route of light, a first clad part 5 linearly extending by surrounding the circumference of the core part 4, a second clad part 6 linearly extending by surrounding the circumference of the first clad part 5, and an absorption layer 7 surrounding the circumference of the second clad part 6. The film-like member 1 includes a core intersection part, An optical changeover groove is provided on the surface of the film-like member so as to cross the core intersection part. The second clad part 6 is formed of a material of which a refractive index is higher than that of the first clad part 5 and a light absorption index is higher than that of the first clad part 5.
