PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die coater the coating width of which is adjusted and the inside of whose die is cleaned simply with ease without disassembling the die. SOLUTION: This die coater 1 is provided with the die having a manifold 8, a slit 9 and a liquid storage part 10. Side plates 11, 11 are arranged on both sides of the die in the coating width direction. A pair of cores 14 are housed inside the die so that the inside of the die is divided liquid-tightly by the cores and the cores can be slid inside the die. The coating width of a coating liquid is set by the cores 14. A supply port 19 is arranged in the center of the manifold 8, hole parts 20a, 20b are arranged respectively on the side plates 11, 11 and a cleaning liquid is supplied/discharged so that the inside of the die is cleaned by reciprocating the cores 14 inside the die.
