<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for manufacturing a fuel cell separator not influenced by decomposed gas while a yield of the fuel cell separator is enhanced and eliminating necessity of coating or spraying of a release agent in each time or suitable time, and to provide the manufacturing method of the fuel cell separator. <P>SOLUTION: The mold 1 for the fuel cell separator is equipped with mold bodies 11a, 11b formed by sintering metal powder and a lock means 12. A material w1 for the fuel cell separator is filled in the opened mold 1 for manufacturing the fuel cell separator and pressed, and a clamping state is kept with the lock means 12.
