<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent developer from staying at the end on the downstream side in the developer moving direction of a developing roller. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 71 is partitioned into a 1st chamber and a 2nd chamber by a partitioning plate 72, and the developing roller 10 and a 1st rotating transporting body 74 are arranged in the 1st chamber, and a 2nd rotating transporting body 75 is arranged in the 2nd chamber, and an extending part 73 whose inner part is partitioned by a partitioning plate 79 is arranged in one axial side part of the developing roller 70 on the housing 71 side, and by rotating the 1st and 2nd rotating transporting bodies 74 and 75, the developer circulates in the 1st chamber, the extending part 73 and the 2nd chamber in this order, and by arranging a developer supply port 77 near the the other axial end of the developing roller 70, also, arranging a 1st reflux port 78 near one axial end of the developing roller 70, and also, arranging a 2nd reflux port 80 in the extending part 73, the 1st chamber can communicate with the 2nd chamber, and part of developer lying near one axial end of the developing roller 70 is returned to the 2nd chamber through the 1st reflux port 78. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
