<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ceramic sintered compact by which the ceramic sintered compact having a high relative sintered density can be obtained by sintering a formed body, obtained by using a forming method for general ceramic materials and comprising ceramic nano-particles and the same kind of ceramic forming material as the ceramic nano-particles having an average diameter of not lower than submicrometer size, at a sintering temperature lower by 30-70°C than that in a conventional sintering method not using the ceramic nano-particles, and which is suitable for mass-production and can comply with the social demands such as low cost, low environmental load/energy saving or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the ceramic sintered compact, a ceramic sintered compact having a relative sintered density of ≥90% can be obtained by sintering a ceramic nano-particle-containing formed body wherein the ceramic nano-particles having an average diameter of several nm to 100 nm are contained in the ceramic forming material at a sintering temperature lower by 30-70°C than that in the case when a ceramic sintered compact having a relative sintered density of ≥90% is obtained by sintering a ceramic formed body formed without incorporating the ceramic nano-particles into the ceramic forming material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
