<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a control drive mechanism for both a means to suppress the surge by opening a bypass return passage and a means to suppress the surge by deflecting a vane. <P>SOLUTION: In the centrifugal compressor, a bypass control valve to open/close the bypass passage to bypass a leading edge of an impeller cascade and to return the fluid from a fluid passage downstream of the leading edge into a fluid inlet passage into the impeller, and a control drive for the surge suppression of the vane installed in the fluid inlet passage to give whirling to the fluid flow are formed to shift each working area by a common driving means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
