<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous telomerization method which obtains an alcohol adduct at a high end-position selectivity (straight chain selectivity) by reacting a conjugated diene compound with an alcohol. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises performing the telomerization of a conjugated diene compound with an alcohol in the presence of a palladium compound, an isocyanide represented by formula (I) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a tertiary alkyl group which may be substituted), a basic compound, and a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
