<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiving tuner capable of attaining re-scanning of a reception azimuth of a smart antenna with a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: The television receiving tuner for using the smart antenna to receive a television broadcast signal is characterized in to include a re-scanning means that receives an input of an instruction of direct station selection to a reception channel during reception while receiving a television broadcast, allows a signal state detection section to detect a state of the signal as to each reception azimuth while allowing an antenna control section to carry out variable control of the reception azimuth of the smart antenna, and carries out re-scanning for keeping the reception azimuth of the smart antenna when the signal state of the signal detected by the signal state detection section reaches a prescribed signal state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
