PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide semiconductor device of a boot strap system capable of reducing a current consumption in a circuit by preventing an on-operation of a parasitic transistor. SOLUTION: A bootstrap circuit for driving a power element in the low voltage side (112) of a power device to supply the power source of a high voltage side driving section (111) is provided with at least a low-voltage semiconductor element (7) for supplying power source to a bootstrap capacitor and high-voltage island drift sections (Rn, 8). In the circuit, the low-voltage semiconductor element is connected to or disconnected from the high-voltage island drifts, and the back gate (16) of a P-channel MOS transistor (Tr7) has an open configuration in which a diode is not connected.
