SOLUTION: For this device, when an X-ray amount measured by an inert gas filled chamber type X-ray amount measuring instrument has become a predetermined specified amount or higher, a collimater adjusting section 9 adjusts a collimater 6, and the radiation range of the X ray is narrowed, and a direct ray which enters a data detecting region for a signal correction is quickly cut. In this case, the inert gas filled chamber type X-ray amount measuring instrument is arranged in front of the data detecting region for the signal correction of an FPD 2 for the detection of the penetration X-ray image of a subject M. Therefore, even when the direct ray enters the data detecting region for the signal correction during the execution of the X-ray imaging, data for the signal correction which is detected in the data detecting region for the signal correction immediately becomes proper data which is not affected by the direct ray, and a correction can be applied to the data for the X-ray image by using the correct data for the signal correction.
