<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture a tomogram with less artifact even when a highly absorbent article for X rays such as a metal exists. <P>SOLUTION: A reconstruction function which decreases a high-frequency element as shown in Figure 5 is used in a range R1 including the highly absorbent article M, and a standard reconstruction function such as Shepp & Logan function is used in a normal range R3. A reconstruction function which interpolates between the reconstruction function of the range of the highly absorbent article and the reconstruction function of the normal range corresponding to a distance from the range including the highly absorbent article M and gradually shifts is used in a shifting range R2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
