<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing carbon nano-particles, by which desired carbon nano-particles can be obtained with low energy in a liquid phase. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the carbon nano-particles, comprising using a hydrocarbon as a carbon source, a couple of porous ceramic plates 1 are used as electrode plates. The porous ceramic plate 1 is constituted of particles selected from the group comprising elements, in each of which the number of electrons in the outer-shell orbit is even and which hardly react with oxygen, and fluorocarbons, and further, the porous ceramic plate 1 has many voids, each having a site for energy concentration, among the particles. The couple of porous ceramic plates are dipped in the hydrocarbon as a reaction liquid or in a solution containing the hydrocarbon, and the carbon nano-particles are deposited on the porous ceramic plate 1 by impressing a voltage to the porous ceramic plates 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
