<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for managing and controlling access from a user to a host computer in system configuration constituted of a single host computer and a plurality of user control units. <P>SOLUTION: The identification code of each user control unit, an identifiable cursor graphic corresponding to each user control unit and setting access control authority to each user control unit are stored in a host computer. When receiving an access request signal transmitted from a user control unit, the host computer displays the cursor graphic corresponding to the identification code of the user control unit on the screen of the host computer, and permits the user control unit to execute access to the host computer under the setting access control authority. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
