<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering sensor capable of promptly detecting occurrence of power source abnormality. <P>SOLUTION: This steering sensor 2 has a pulse generator 21 generating a pulse signal whose level changes with time, and a switch 22. The pulse generator 21 generates two-phase pulse signals Sm, Sn having different frequencies.
