<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common use and parking brake system capable of avoiding a reduction in parking brake force caused by pressure removal when removing pressure at the time of its operation as a parking brake. <P>SOLUTION: In the brake system A, a lead at an engaged portion between a male screw section 27a (second fixed screw element) of a screw shaft 27 and a female screw section 29a (second movable screw element) of a nut 29 is set to be small when comparing with a lead at an engaged portion between a female screw section 19a (first fixed screw element) of a piston 19 and a male screw section 25a (first movable screw element) of a second piston 25. Thus, the second piston 25 and nut 29 are integral each other via a frictional clutch FC by making the second piston 25 and nut 29 move to a control chamber R2 while the second piston 25 and nut 29 are integrally rotated via the frictional clutch FC, and a contact portion between a screwed surface of the male screw section 27a and a screwed surface of the female screw section 29a and a contact portion between a screwed surface of the female screw section 19a and a screwed surface of the male screw section 25a turn stretched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
