VEHICLE TRANSPORT SYSTEM AND PROGRAM FOR IMPLEMENTING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the number of vehicles by consolidating passenger automobile transport business and freight transport business and by using compound transporting vehicles serving both of them to reduce harmful substances discharged from the passenger automobiles and the freight automobiles.

SOLUTION: This vehicle transport system is provided with: a vehicle management means where each transporting vehicle transmits vehicle information to an information center by a wireless communication means by means of an on-vehicle terminal as needed or at every predetermined period and the information center stores the transmitted vehicle information in a network server; a passenger/freight management means where passenger/freight information inputted from an information terminal machine is transmitted to the information center by a wireless communication means along with information of a terminal with the information terminal machine installed therein, and the information center stores the transmitted passenger/freight information and terminal information in the network server; and a vehicle allotment means for allotting the transporting vehicles by a vehicle allotment means provided for the network server based on the information collected by the vehicle management means and the passenger/freight management means.
