<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent NOx reduction effect at a lower exhaust gas temperature even in a vehicle with such an operating style that an operating state with low exhaust gas temperature is continued for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: In this exhaust emission control device, a selective reduction catalyst 10 is installed in an exhaust tube 9, and a urea water 17 as a reducer is added to the upstream side of the selective reduction catalyst 10 to reduce and purify NOx.
