LEAD-ACID BATTERY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-acid battery capable of improving the utilization ratio of an active material and of increasing capacity of the battery. SOLUTION: This lead-acid battery is composed by stacking a paste type positive electrode plate 2, a retainer or separator 3 and a paste type negative electrode plate 1. The lead-acid battery is characterized by that the paste type positive electrode plate and/or the paste type negative electrode plate contains a hydrophilic short fiber such as a rayon fiber or a vinylon fiber; and 0.15-1.0 wt.% of the hydrophilic short fiber is included in a lead material being an active material.
