PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing device, wherein, when a desired time is designated on the basis of an operational input, the disk reproducing device can precisely obtain the address of a sector in which the frame corresponding to the time exists. SOLUTION: The start address and the start time code for each piece of music stored in a buffer memory 16 are taken into a CPU 20, and the number of sectors required for constituting one frame when the compressed data of the designated piece of the music are decoded is calculated.
