PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting work when limiting simultaneously use of a locker box to cope with a crime preventive countermeasure, electric power interruption or the like, in a rental locker system. SOLUTION: A using limit time is set optionally by an LCD display 12 with a touch panel. When an operator sets the using limit time, a date and a time are monitored by an internal time piece 101 to lock the unused locker box when getting within the using limit time. The locker box under use is locked when a baggage is taken out. The use is allowed after the lapse of the using limit time. An operation is carried out usually by an external electric power source 10B, and carried out by an uninterruptive power supply device 10A when the external electric power source 10B is interrupted by the electric power interruption, and the unused locker box is locked.
