PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism by which payment adjustment processing is efficiently conducted by eliminating labor, including the supplement of coin to a payment adjustment machine with a rise in a cost inhibiting in adjusting the fraction of the balance of a card. SOLUTION: The payment adjustment machine 4 adjusts the balance of the card 7 and has: a storage section storing information on a standard amount being a standard whether or not the payment adjustment machine 4 conducts cash repayment adjustment; an acquisition means acquiring the balance of the card; an extract means extracting the fractional amount reaching no standard amount in the acquired balance of the card; and an issue means issuing a receipt for cashing the extracted fractional amount.
