PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing tool for a substrate which prevents solder or paste from adhering to the terminal area of a substrate, and inhibits the deflection or breakage of a substrate, and to provide a substrate fixing method. SOLUTION: Two or more magnets 31 are engaged with stationary plates 3, and two or more substrates 2 are placed by matching positioning holes 23 and 23 of the substrates 2 with positioning holes 33 of the two or more stationary plates 3. Terminal areas 21, 21 and 21 and two or more edges 22 of the substrate 2 are covered by a covering plate 1 which provides two or more apertures making nearly square shape for exposing the mounting range of circuit components.
