PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setback window structure and a setback window unit capable of simplifying site work and, at the same time, realizing a reliable construction without being influenced on ability of a constructor when the construction of a setback window is carried out. SOLUTION: The setback window unit (2) equipped with a window sash (3) provided to a sash mounting frame (1) of an external wall section of a building setback to an indoor side and a supporting section (4) connecting the window sash (3) to the sash mounting frame (1) is provided to the sash mounting frame (1) as well as the case when general window sash is executed.
