PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for purifying regenerated oil, having a simple structure and light weight, and capable of performing an efficient operation even by a small scale plant. SOLUTION: This method for purifying the regenerated oil is provided by melting/thermally decomposing waste plastic containing polyvinyl chloride, etc., cooling the thermally decomposed gas, storing the obtained regenerated oil in an evaporator 2, heating the evaporator each stepwise at a temperature for evaporating the first class petroleum, a temperature for evaporating the second class petroleum and a temperature for evaporating the third class petroleum to recover the first to third class petroleum by fractionating and recovering the residual liquid remaining in the evaporator as the forth class petroleum.
