PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion type adhesive having an adhesive property which has excellent unwinding force at the same level as a solvent type adhesive with equal amount of spread as the solvent type adhesive, and a tape using the emulsion type adhesive. SOLUTION: The emulsion type adhesive comprises 100 parts by mass (solid content) of a rubber component of a mixture comprising a natural rubber latex and a synthetic rubber latex and 1-10 parts by mass (solid content) of a copolymer emulsion of acrylonitrile and butadiene to 50-150 parts by mass (solid content) of a tackifying resin emulsion, and the adhesive tape uses the emulsion type adhesive as an adhesive layer.
