PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the closed feeling of a subject, to facilitate an experiment such as an fMRI, and to make it possible to decouple a coil. SOLUTION: In a volume coil which is the volume coil for an MR device used for transmitting and receiving an RF radio wave and which is constituted of a plurality of electroconductive rods and around the outside face of which a radio wave shield is wound, the radio wave shield has a plurality of electroconductive segments electrically connected to the plurality of electroconductive rods and capacitors connecting the electroconductive segments each other, the electroconductive segments have network patterns. One of the electroconductive rods corresponds to one of the electroconductive segments, one of the closed electric current path including each electroconductive rod is formed, a blocking circuit is inserted into the closed electric current circuit, and the corresponding electroconductive segment is electrically connected to one end of the closed electric current path.
