<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To newly propose a print log handling method in a case where the print logs cannot be transferred to a print log collection device in collecting print logs by the print log collection device and managing them by a print log management device. <P>SOLUTION: This printer is a component of a print log management system comprising the printer, a terminal device that is a client terminal of the printer, the print log collection device collecting print logs from the printer and/or the terminal device; and the print log management device acquiring and managing the print logs from the print log collection device. The print log collection device includes a transfer means transferring the print logs.
