<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to efficiently receive the provision of the service of download of image data or the like without performing any troublesome operation. <P>SOLUTION: The purchase request of image data stored in a service providing server 7 and the identification code of a portable telephone 1 are transmitted from the portable telephone 1 to a portable site server 5. The server 5 issues unique ID, and transmits the unique ID and user information and order information to be acquired from the identification code to the service providing server 7. The server 7 registers this. The unique ID is also transmitted to the portable telephone 1, and the portable telephone 1 transmits the unique ID to the recorder 3. The recorder 3 transmits the unique ID to the server 7. When the unique ID is registered, the server 7 transmits the image data to the recorder 3.
