SERVER DEVICE, ADVERTISEMENT INFORMATION DISPLAY METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device for providing advertisement information demanded by a user by determining information such as taste of the user.

SOLUTION: In this server device 20, a commodity information database 23 is adapted to store classification information of commodities on a commodity basis. An advertisement information database 25 is adapted to store advertisement information to be transmitted when corresponding to a predetermined condition. A user purchase history information database 24 is adapted to store the classification information of each commodity purchased in the past by a user of a personal digital assistant 10 by relating it to user identification information. The server device 20 reads classification information corresponding to predetermined user identification information from the user purchase history information database 24 to confirm whether the classification information corresponds to a predetermined condition or not. When it is confirmed that it corresponds to the predetermined condition, advertisement information to be transmitted when it corresponds to the predetermined condition is read from the advertisement information database 25 and transmitted to the personal digital assistant 10.
