<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device containing a transparent member which seals an imaging element together with a sealing resin, and to provide its manufacturing method which can suppress the occurrence of deformation due to expansion/shrinkage by heating/cooling and can improve optical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises a photo detector which is the imaging element 11 containing a light receiving surface 18, microlens 13 which is formed on the imaging element 11 and condenses incident light on the light receiving surface 18, transparent member 14 arranged on the light receiving surface 18 via the microlens 13, transparent resin 15 arranged at least in the periphery of the transparent member 14, and transparent member 16 arranged on the transparent resin 15 so as to face the transparent member 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
