<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable uniform (strictly speaking, almost uniform) band distribution to a plurality of physical ports constituting the logic port of a link aggregation. <P>SOLUTION: A data transmitter 10 as a traffic distributed control unit is for calculating hash values from the destination address of a reception packet and a transmission source address using a hash function to decide the physical port of the destination, in order to distribute traffic onto the plurality of physical ports constituting the logic port of the link aggregation. The transmitter is provided with a measuring means 13 for measuring output flow rate of a packet from each of the plurality of physical ports, a calculating means 14 for calculating a flow rate ratio between the plurality of physical ports for the measured output flow rate, and a first control means 12 for feeding the calculated flow rate ratio back to the band distribution ratio between the plurality of the physical ports to change assignment of the number of hash values for deciding the physical port of the destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
