<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable connector suitably used as a board to board connector, wherein a male connector 4 can be smoothly engaged with a female connector 2 by absorbing backlash in a hinge. <P>SOLUTION: This removable connector is composed of a pair of a male connector 4 and a female connector 2, and one connector 4 is rotationally moved with a hinge H set in the outside of both connectors 2, 4 as the center of rotation to get engaged and disengaged with the other connector 2. Both connectors 2, 4 has a guide mechanism G to guide one connector 4 to the other connector 2 when they are engaged with each other, and the guide mechanism G is composed of a projecting part 15 formed so as to be slenderized toward the front of the direction of rotation at the time of engagement and formed so as to be deflected toward the side of the center of rotation, and a recessed part 16 formed so as to get engaged with the projecting part 15.
