<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination control device capable of allowing the presence of a vehicle to be clearly recognized even after a lamp is automatically turned off. <P>SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 comprises a lamp switch 10 for a driver of an automobile to turn on/turn off lamps 50, 60, a key switch 20 to turn on/turn off an ACC switch 21 and an IGN switch 22 by turning an inserted key, an illumination control device 30 which detects the ON/OFF state of the lamp switch 10 and the key switch 20, and controls the turn-on/turn-off of the lamps 50, 60 based on the result of detection, and an illuminance sensor 40 to detect the illuminance outside the automobile. The illumination device controls the turn-on/turn-off of the lamps 50, 60 based on the ON/OFF state of the lamp switch 10, and automatically controls the turn-off of the lamps 50, 60 to prevent battery exhaustion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
