<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detector capable of simultaneously detecting a current value of each phase with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer as the current detector makes timing tu for sampling a U-phase analog signal Au as reference timing t0 and performs the sampling to a V-phase analog signal Av at two timing of timing tva (t0 - Δt) earlier than the reference timing t0 by a prescribed period of time Δt and timing tvb (t0 + Δt) later than the reference timing t0 by the prescribed period of time Δt.
