PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly extract the block of data from a reproduction RF signal and to exactly store the extracted data into a prescribed region of a memory. SOLUTION: The reproduction RF signal outputted from an optical pickup 11 is demodulated in a demodulation section 12 and a synchronization signal inserted into the signal is detected. The demodulation section 12 specifies the frame number of a frame currently reproduced by the combination of synchronization patterns and successively stores the demodulated data into the prescribed regions of an SRAM 13 based on the specified frame number.
