PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chum forming tool for easily and surely forming chum to facilitate the distant casting of the chum by an angler. SOLUTION: The chum forming tool 10 is provided with a main body 11 and a guide plate 12. The main body 11 and the guide plate 12 are made of a resin. The main body 11 and the guide plate 12 have nearly C-formed cross-sections and the guide plate 12 is inserted into the main body 11. The main body 11 has a base plate 13 and the guide plate 12 has a base plate 16. Both base plates 13 and 16 are placed opposite to each other in the main body 11. The base plate 16 is inclined relative to the base plate 13 and the gap between the base plate 13 and the base plate 16 is gradually decreased from the top downward. The base plate 16 has a notch 19.
